Hands down the most frequent question I get is “Can you help me store my nail polish. I have more than the average girl.” to which I have yet to reply. There are just so many options I wasn’t sure where to start. I think maybe I should have just posted them individually and tagged them appropriately but I guess I’ll do that from here on out. for now! I have found some serious options for you serious collectors out there.
We’ll start small with this adorable spice rack from The Speckled Dog. From what I understand, this is not very many but I think it is the perfect way to store more than I’ll ever own! (Unless red and clear coat count as a collection?)
I had a whole drawer in my bathroom dedicated to nail polish when I was in high school, but in the past five years I’ve downgraded to one bottle each of clear, red, and coral. I keep them in a bowl on my desk that I painted at a Color Me Mine-type pottery painting studio. But I do have many, many spices that are kept in a cabinet above the fridge that is frustratingly out of reach, and this green spice rack is freaking adorable. Looks vintage, or at least hand-painted—I’m going to keep an eye out for a similar wooden rack next time I hit the thrift stores.
Halloween Week special business with enforced attire? “The Last Rendezvous” in particular. The McKittrick Hotel will host a formal affair. Join us for a night of sophistication and intrigue.
Dress in film noir formal? Oh, expense. Oh, things I want to do.
Punchdrunk, just. Never leave.
If I could in any way afford to, I’d go to all five nights of the event.
I wish, I wish, I wish! If anyone’s interested in giving me an extravagant birthday present, this would fit the bill. I would probably try to go on one of the all white, black or red nights—a lot harder to screw up.
