Dear Kristin: I love you and wish you nothing but the best, and I agree that Aaron Sorkin is a genius writer, but I really don’t know if this is a good idea. But actually, I just had a vision of an alternate reality where you had the Emily Mortimor role in The Newsroom and I got really excited. So I’m going to be pulling for you to get a C.J. Cregg-level role out of this relationship, but I think it’s more likely you’ll be fictionally eviscerated when it ends.
