I want her house to be my house and she’s more than welcome to have my house if she wants that.

Ooh, I love this—I adore a nautical theme but I’ve gotten sick of the blue-on-white, seashells everywhere, obvious way of interpreting it. The pale minty green with the red accents and Moby Dick touches is much more original. I might paint my next bedroom that color.

I am sorely tempted to get rid of my desk and put a cozy reading chair in that corner of my room.

Don’t even with that wallpaper, my life is too sad and empty to handle that much gorgeousness in someone else’s home.

As someone with a decidedly “more is more” aesthetic, that photo wallpaper is entrancing me. There’s a DIY tutorial but it’s not that helpful:

My brother helped me design 11x17 inch images with 9 Instax wide sized photos per sheet. We then created 4 different sheets with different photos. You could always do more if you wanted to reduce repeat photos! We measured the wall and ordered about 130 sheets on 80 lb card stock. We found an inexpensive local printer that did them for around $1 per sheet, so the entire wall only cost about $130!

So did she take the photos, scan them, assemble them into a single image using Photoshop, then give that to the printer? I need more details. But anyway, this really inspires me to use up the last 5 or so Polaroid photos on the role of film I’ve had since 2007-ish—I should at least see if it’s still good, and consider buying more.

I love seeing kitchens that make my own look spacious! I think I would have to lose weight just to get in there.
