April Pearson as Harry Potter. Gender swap requested by @wendydarlings.
Would it hurt to die? All those times she had thought that it was about to happen and escaped, she had never really thought of the thing itself: her will to live had always been so much stronger than her fear of death. Yet it did not occur to her now to try to escape, to outrun Voldemort. It was over, she knew it, and all that was left was the thing itself: dying.
The HP genderswap I kept seeing reblogged had Emily Browning as Harry, Emma Stone as Ron, and Skander Keyes are Hermione—it didn’t sit quite right with me, and I couldn’t figure out why until I saw this. Of course—the trio needs to be 100% British. Non-negotiable. So I’m throwing my genderswap weight (which is worth, literally, nothing) behind April Pearson, who always seemed smarter and more soulful than her Skins character.
