Should this be the photo I take to the hair salon? Should I try to steal Emma Stone’s bangs again? Tough questions.

It’s haircut time, which means looking at a billion pictures of Emma Stone and wondering if I could ever recreate her perfect bangs.

Autumn Reeser (Taylor Townsend) and her husband, director Jesse Warren, welcomed their first baby, named Finn, on Tuesday, May 10th. (Source)
Congrats on the baby and whatnot, but I’m reblogging this for bang inspiration. (Although it would help if the top of her head wasn’t cut off in all three photos.)

I’ve backtracked a lot from my “Must get bangs! Bangs bangs bangs!” attitude of a few weeks ago. One morning, I looked around on the subway and realized that every other girl had the exact same bangs. And I’m such a contrarian that as soon as I realize everyone else is doing something, I no longer want to do it myself.

The other thing I realized is that having bangs is going to be a pain in the ass when I go running. I got my last haircut (with shorter layers in the front that are bangs-esque) in December, and since then I’ve only gone running with a fleece headband to keep my ears warm—and, as a bonus, my hair out of my face. I won’t need that ear warmer much longer, and I don’t want to have to worry about accessories when I’m trying to get from 18th Street to the Brooklyn Bridge in under 28 minutes. So I’ve pretty much decided to put the bangs on hold; I can always do it when it cools down next fall. But damn, Keira Knightley and her hair are gorgeous (and her eye makeup is flawless).

This is from Sofia Coppola’s Miss Dior Cherie commercial, right? I’d recognize a photo from my dream life anywhere. Usually I’m envious of the dress and the Paris and the balloons, but right now I’m especially envious of the bangs.
