1950s Inspired Swimwear

Amazing DIY bathing suit.

I totally failed to get a vintage-esque swimsuit in time for Virginia Beach. I have some mixy-matchy bikinis and a utilitarian Speedo one-piece, but nothing that will make me feel like an old-fashioned bathing beauty. Sigh, maybe next summer.

In about 13 hours I’ll be in a car, on the way to Virginia Beach.

SO CLASSY. I would reverse my anti-Peter Pan collar stance if I had this dress. Sadly, the photo was taken in 1954, so while it may have been under $100, it sure ain’t anymore.
