Things are feeling a little hard right now. I could use some easy. Having avocado toad in a hole for dinner tonight sounds perfect.
These are so unexpectedly poignant. I love this one, too (but c’mon, dude, go for Banana Split or Mayan Chocolate flavors, not vanilla):
(It would be inappropriate to use my “om nom nom nom” tag here, right?)
On Oct. 13, Domino’s announced the latest in its Legends line of cheesier pizza, which Dairy Management is promoting with the $12 million marketing effort.
Called the Wisconsin, the new pie has six cheeses on top and two more in the crust. “This is one way that we can support dairy farms across the country: by selling a pizza featuring an abundance of their products,” a Domino’s spokesman said in a news release. “We think that’s a good thing.”
I am unironically into this. It’s a layer of ground turkey, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, stuffing, mashed potatoes, turkey, mashed potato frosting on the sides, sweet potato frosting and marshmallows on the top.
I love mixing all my Thanksgiving food together (best use of leftovers: mixing torn up turkey pieces with mashed potatoes and gravy to make Thanksgiving soup), and I would definitely skip the cranberry sauce, pour gravy over everything, and get my om nom nom nom on. I might also put more mashed potatoes on top instead of sweet potatoes, to keep everything savory.
Sometimes I think about the healthy things I eat, and think, “I have the rest of my life to eat pizza and donuts, it’s no big deal to wait.” And then sometimes I think about the unhealthy (and vastly more delicious) things I don’t eat, and think, “I might never have another chance for the rest of my life to drink this milkshake, so what the hell am I waiting for?” In other words, I desperately need to go visit wherever this photo or taken, or il Laboratorio del Gelato if that place is too far.
