Selections from the New York TimesThe Red Carpet Project.

This color palette doesn’t usually appeal to me. I must be really craving spring.

Between Amanda and Mila, I think I need to invest in a big black hairbow. And also try to appear exclusively in black and white artfully shot photos.

for Miss Dior

Hey Natasha—I’m getting some major Jackie Kennedy vibes from the top right gif.

THE LIKENESS

“take what you want and pay for it, says god”

Cassie Maddox/Lexie Madison → Mila KunisFrank Mackey → Dominic WestDaniel March → Louis GarrelRafe Hyland → Max IronsAbby Stone → Felicity JonesJustin Mannering → Hunter ParrishSam O’Neill → Jamie DornanRob → Kirk Acevado

I love this (and this book) so hard. If anyone is looking for a book recommendation, pick up Tana French immediately. Start with In the Woods, spend three nights unable to fall asleep because you can’t stop reading, start The Likeness, have the same thing happen, take a little break, then blow through Faithful Place.

Ooh, I just did some googling and found out that French’s newest book, BROKEN HARBOR, comes out in July! Already counting down the days.

Her brows and eyeliner are flawless—I like that it’s a 60’s inspired look but she doesn’t seem to be in costume or imitating anyone else.

Three favorite things about this photo:
Her headband
The exposed zipper
Her calves.
Oh, and the pockets! Can’t forget the pockets. This is a total HBIC-in-training look.

Some of my faves from last night. Obviously I have a certain palette preference…

Excellent choices. I think I’ve made peace with Mila Kunis’s boobs. If she had had a nip slip during Oscar night, I would be all, “I TOLD YOU! PUT THEM AWAY! TOO DANGEROUS!” But everything stayed in place, and the dress is indisputably lovely in every other way, so she can take her deserved place on the Best Dressed list.

My favorite dress and my favorite couple, in one photo that’s dying for a snarky caption.

I am indescribably excited to see what Mila wears to all the red carpet events this awards season. I have a feeling, based on this photo (how many women could rock that insane flower top? Not a lot, I tell you) she’s gonna kill it.

When are Emma Stone and Mila Kunis gonna play sisters in a movie? With Sarah Hyland from Modern Family as either their baby sister or Mila in a flashback? If it doesn’t happen in my lifetime I’ll come back to haunt casting directors everywhere.
