Sigh. I did a week-long Grand Canyon rafting trip a few years ago, and this May my dad, uncle and aunt are going again. Since I have so few vacation days, I had to decide between joining them and going to South Korea (next week, aahh!), and I choose the once-in-a-lifetime, holy shit trip to Asia. I don’t regret it at all—but the Grand Canyon is pretty “holy shit” in its own right.
